Does anyone know of a way to link an email (Mac Mail) to a filemaker record? Ideally I would like to view one or many connected emails by clicking and having the email show up in a container field, or the text content being displayed?

There isn't a way to do this without a plugin. I'd recommend the 360Works Email Plugin as a good place to start - it downloads email from your server and creates one record per email, as you might expect.

Even that doesn't achieve the direct link between Mail.app and FileMaker that you describe - it just isn't possible.
