Jhon Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 I run FMP 5 on an NT server with FMP Server 5. When some one has a file open, and I need to make changes on the file, I am unable to do so until that person closes the file. Is there any way I can give my self "King" status and throw them off so I can make the changes with out tracking them down and having them close the file. I want to be able to do this from my work station. (I am the administrator of this system)
LiveOak Posted April 13, 2002 Posted April 13, 2002 Read up on Windows remote administration in your FM Server manual. It tells you how to disconnect users. -bd [ April 12, 2002, 04:22 PM: Message edited by: LiveOak ]
