Hi all,

I have a question that I feel is pretty basic, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out. I'm using FMP 10 Advanced in Mac OS 10.5.8.

I want to write two calculations in two separate fields: one will total my paychecks for the first half of the month (the first 15 days), and the other will total my paychecks for the second half of the month. I've created two databases, "paychecks" and "months," which are related by the month number.

How do I write calculations that say, to put it in plain English:

"Give me the sum of the income fields for records that have a day number less than or equal to 15."

and

"Give me the sum of the income fields for records that have a day number number greater than 15."

I know the summation part. It's limiting the records included to the first and second halves of the month that I just can't figure out.

Thanks!

Jon
