Hijack Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hello, all.... I have a runtime solution I have put together that is giving me a brain poser. All the security and custom menus work great in the full FM client. When I generate a runtime of the database, I suddenly lose the ability to close any child window that gets opened within the database. The X button on all child windows within the runtime workspace are greyed out. Does anyone know what I must have missed in generating this runtime? Thanks David in Fishers
TheTominator Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) The Runtime engine disables/removes the normal "close window" button of the database window. (This is the X on the window border in Microsoft Windows or the red dot on the window on Mac OS X). You cannot turn it on again. You can provide a script menu item or a button to close the window since the Close Window script step is still available. Edited November 9, 2009 by Guest
Hijack Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 Well that suck-didily-ucks. I have lots of windows. Welp, looks like a little more work for me. Thanks for the info though!
