Using Web Assistant Plugin to post Twitter status update

Featured Replies

I have 360 works Web Assistant which I use for various things involving http posts.

I would like to use the plugin to post a status update on Twitter. From my research , the information I need to pass is

username

password

status

what I can't seem to find is the url to perform an http post command

any ideas anyone

thanks

We have not tested posting to Twitter using this plugin, but if you know a way to tweet using POST then it may be possible. You would want to use the WASetRawPostData function and then the WAGetURL function to do a POST.

We have a beta of a plugin available which will allow you to tweet using a filemaker function. If you are interested in testing this plugin, please email me and I can send you a beta version to test.

Thanks for the reply.

I would love to try a beta version of that plug-in.

I have sent you an email with my details.

Would the plug-in also work with Facebook?
