Then I test the result on all of the Windows versions I have available (XP, Vista, Windows 7). Similarly I create my runtime on one Mac OS version and test on all of the others. I don't think it matters which operating system you run when you create your runtime. FileMaker Advanced should create the same code regardless of Windows platform. My multi-platform testing is to ensure that things such as fonts, layout formatting, web viewer plug-ins, exotic exports, Send Event script steps, Send DDE Execute, Do AppleScript and so on show no surprises with Microsoft's (or Apple's) many changes with each OS.
