Lee Smith Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) The easiest way to do this, is to simply drag your file (folder) on to an external disk (on a Macintosh anyway). I would think you can do this on the Windows machine also. This will automatically copy it to the other disk. It is always a good idea to backup your work periodically. You never know when something unexpected can cause a loss of work. There are several topics on the forum about this, and some Best Practice White Papers on the subject at a couple of sites. If you can't find anything on it, let me know and I'll dig for some links. Unless of course someone else beats me to it. HTH Lee Edited November 23, 2009 by Guest
Guest Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 i am fed up wit dragging and save the copy as i want to auto back up to specified area in my computer with a script when i close my window
Lee Smith Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 "Save a Copy" might make it easier for you, but personally I think it easier to do this at the Finder level..
