Documentation shows that you can run Filemaker Pro Server 5.0 as a service. I've heard that this is not recommended. What issues are there if I do run it as a service?

Always run Filemaker Server As an NT Service ... That is the only way that works!

Actually I beleive that FMP Server for NT is an application, not a service.
