I want to buy the Developer edition mainly to get the runtime capability. All the Filemaker promo materials make it look like you can do unlimited distribution of runtime solutions with the developer edition.

Someone else told me it is about $5,000 more to add that functionality!

Which is the case?

Developer Edition allows you to create runtimes that can be distributed royalty free. This is its main purpose.
