Scripts with imports from external data sources

Featured Replies

I'm trying to use an import records script with FM 10 Advanced for Mac. The data source for the import is a SQL Server database. (Connecting with Actual ODBC driver.)

The core of my problem is that I can't seem to store the username and password for the database I'm connecting to. So 1) everytime I run the script I have to enter credentials, and 2) there's multiple import steps in the script, each from different tables in the same SQL Server database - and I have to enter credentials each time.

There's an option to save the username and password, but it doesn't work. Not sure if this is a bug in FM, or in the ODBC driver. I'll settle for any viable workaround though - entering credentials 30+ times won't fly.
