December 18, 200025 yr Newbies Just purchased a new laptop computer and our run time crashes when we try to launch the program. Has anyone seen this before? This is a brand new computer with Windows 98 SE on it. Here is what we receive as far as an error goes: BIZPLANNER caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0177:bff7b992. Registers: EAX=00000020 CS=0177 EIP=bff7b992 EFLGS=00010202 EBX=00000001 SS=017f ESP=0094e63c EBP=0094e648 ECX=01b20450 DS=017f ESI=00000020 FS=62bf EDX=0000001b ES=017f EDI=019de0c0 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 80 3e 04 74 0f 33 c0 50 50 50 68 05 00 00 c0 e8 Stack dump: 00000000 019c32b4 00000020 01940eb4 019c18bd 00000000 019de0c0 00000000 00000001 019b122a 00000000 019ce104 019113e8 019113e8 01940eb4 ffffffff
December 18, 200025 yr Author Newbies Just a follow up. I boot the computer in safe mode and I am still having the problem. Loren
December 18, 200025 yr I haven't seen your problem before, but in general I would re-install your runtime and also re-install Windows if you haven't already done so. As a last alternative, a call to Micosoft tech support.
December 19, 200025 yr Try removing all the printer drivers - while I know that most of these issues have been resolved, I still have some users who have problems with some drivers. If this solves the problem, I would check for new drivers.
December 19, 200025 yr Author Newbies Thanks for all the help. I narrowed it down to a plug-in. There is a newer version of the plug-in and it works great. Once again thanks for all the help and suggestions. Best Regards, Loren S. Kruse
