Newbies loren Posted December 18, 2000 Newbies Posted December 18, 2000 Just purchased a new laptop computer and our run time crashes when we try to launch the program. Has anyone seen this before? This is a brand new computer with Windows 98 SE on it. Here is what we receive as far as an error goes: BIZPLANNER caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0177:bff7b992. Newbies loren Posted December 18, 2000 Author Newbies Posted December 18, 2000 Just a follow up. I boot the computer in safe mode and I am still having the problem. Loren
SteveB Posted December 18, 2000 Posted December 18, 2000 I haven't seen your problem before, but in general I would re-install your runtime and also re-install Windows if you haven't already done so. As a last alternative, a call to Micosoft tech support.
BuddySystems Posted December 19, 2000 Posted December 19, 2000 Try removing all the printer drivers - while I know that most of these issues have been resolved, I still have some users who have problems with some drivers. If this solves the problem, I would check for new drivers.
Newbies loren Posted December 19, 2000 Author Newbies Posted December 19, 2000 Thanks for all the help. I narrowed it down to a plug-in. There is a newer version of the plug-in and it works great. Once again thanks for all the help and suggestions. Best Regards, Loren S. Kruse
