Filemaker is locking up after a few minutes use on a client computer. The file is runs fine on other client machines,no problem. So I believe the file is sound and the problem rest with this particular computer. Either something is missing or conflicting with Filemaker. I have done a clean install of Filemaker but that did not correct the problem. The only recent change was the uninstall of a spyware removal program, which was also removed from the other computers too. Like I said the other computers are fine. The problem computer is a Dell Optiplex 330 XP Pro SP2. It has performed fine up till now. I'm at a loss as to my next move. Can anyone please help? thanks.

You would have to do an extensive side-by-side comparison of the two machines:

- software installed

- FM plugins installed

- version of the drivers

what's happening when it locks up? Is the CPU maxed out? Do other things beside FM work fine?
