Win98 FMP4 to FMP5

I have FMP Developed 4.0v1. and my solutions will not convert propertly to FMP5v3. I can create a new solution in FMP5v3 and everything works fine. When I convert my old solutions they will crash when I print and some scripts will cause a crash. This makes my solutions totaly unsable in FMP5v3. Is there a fix to the conversion problem?

This is going to sound odd, but try this:

Open your FMP4 solution and use the "save a copy as..." command to save a clone of the solution. Then try converting to FMP5.

This sometimes works if there are minor corruption or inconsistencies in the original file. The save procedure forces a rewrite of the file, often resolving these problems.
