Thunderbird 3 as Default Mail Client

Hey guys,

I was previously able to send emails from FileMaker with attachments. It would select my default mail client which was Thunderbird 2 and bingo, no problems.

I updated to Thunderbird 3. It has lot's of improvements that I love but now Filemaker won't recognize it as my default mail client. It is my only setup mail client and it is officially setup as the default client. But when I try to send an email from FM, it opens my unconfigured Outlook 2003.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Has anyone tried to use Thunderbird 3 and their mail client with Filemaker?

Thanks for looking into this. If you need more details, don't hesitate to ask.

default email specified as Thunderbird.

it DOES work in Windows versions , not the MAC using the Send email script in Filemaker.

I never found a solution.

I ended up reinstalling the computer. I made sure to not install Outlook with Office and disabled Outlook Express.

Then I installed Thunderbird and FM.
