Newbies lpokorny Posted February 19, 2010 Newbies Posted February 19, 2010 I am working with my co-worker, trying to make new databases for our new boss. The only problem is, neither of us have had to go "behind the scenes" on fm before. As we are learning, we are getting more confused about what our old boss has done with the db. We have 6 databases, that we want to open all together. Old boss had it set up where we opened "ART2006" and 4 db opened with it. Does anyone know how to make the 6 open togehter?
Lee Smith Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) The Short Answer is; Check the ScriptMaster menu to see if there was a script for Opening and Closing the files. Look at the Main Menu >> File >> [color:blue]File Options and it should show the opening and closing script names. The long answer is; You need to read the User Guide and Materials that came with your FileMaker application. The PDFs, sample files, should be in the application folder. Although FileMaker has a reputation for being easy to use and create files in, it still has a learning curve. Depending on all of the stuff you are wanting to change, the curve can be steeper than you might expect. HTH and good luck with your project. Lee Edited February 19, 2010 by Guest
