Have a database with the contacts linking to the sales invoice. The problem is the sheer number of records ( over 15,000 ), the fields that have autofill enabled takes about 5-15 seconds to sort through.

Any way in making the field respond faster without disabling autofill?

[color:blue]many thanks for assistance.

What do you mean by autofill? Can you provide more detail? Perhaps you're talking about a field set as a drop down list and is set to use auto-complete?

Autofill,,,,

It is the auto-complete previously entered values checkbox. ( this is in the field/control setup dialogue box)(on the lower left)

So currently I have it disabled due to the volume of previous entries the "auto-complete" has to sift through.

This demo might help. http://fmforums.com/forum/showpost.php?post/332071/
