Newbies rickj Posted November 7, 2001 Newbies Posted November 7, 2001 Is there a way to force a run-time application to boot to a default screen size. I've noticed the first time the run-time file is opened, Filemaker screen boots to max screen size and has to be resized. From that point on, it boots to the size I set after the first boot. Any ideas?
Ocean West Posted November 7, 2001 Posted November 7, 2001 Since FM will zoom to any graphic I sugguest you create a layout the with a graphic say a square filled none the size you want the layout to be. With script control have it go to this layout and zoom to the window size. Avoid maximize as it has a different effect xplatform, on Windows it maximizes all windows not just the one you are looking at.
Vaughan Posted November 7, 2001 Posted November 7, 2001 When you say "boot to a default screen size" do you mean the application changes the monitor resolution? AFAIK FileMaker Pro cannot do that.
