Is there a single path I could type to default unzip/install a solution to the desktop folder, regardless of the operating system being used?

I have a solution that I zipped with WinZip. In the unzip dialogue, I would like it to default unzip to the user's desktop. However, Win 9x and Win 2K have different paths to the desktop file:

"C:|Windows|Desktop" for Win 9x;

"C:|Documents and Settings|All Users|Desktop" for Win 2k

I run into the same problem with an installer program...

You could create a seperate installer for each version and include them all on the same CD/Web Site/Diskette or whatever. The user can then run the installer for thier OS.

You could also tell the installer to prompt the user for a location and let them choose.
