sneddens
Hello, I just bought Developer and everything seems great, except than when I do a stand alone or kiosk I get no window frame and a completely black background. Everything that should be inside a window frame is there and functioning well. I've read and reread the help and done lots of trial and error. Thanks. SteveB
Developer 5.5 works just fine in kiosk mode. If what your saying is that around the outside of the kiosk window the screen is black that's normal depending on screen size and resolution setting. In order to fill up the screen at various resolutions, you will need different layouts, each sized to fill the screen at particular settings. sneddens
I wondered if that were true, but the Filemaker Kiosk Example opens as a normal looking window floating over the desktop with no black. I tried looking at all the layouts to see if I was doing something different but I can't find anything.
Steven H. Blackwell
Well when kiosk is invoked, the background is totally black. Is it possible that the example file was opened with the master password? A master password will not invoke kiosk on a file. sneddens
I see now. There were no passwords set and so Kiosk mode was not invoked. Thanks for your help.
