I am about to change my Filemaker Pro Web applications to External Authentication, which I believe means that an Apache module is integrated into the library and then Filemaker Server is switched to Filemaker and External Server Authentication.

First of all, is this true or am I missing something? Secondly, where can I find good documentation about this?I have looked on Filemaker, but can't find anything on the latest versions of Filemaker that discuss this topic.

Also, any tips on what to be careful of or avoid?

Apache hasn't anything to do with External Server Authentication.
