I've trying to use the TROI URL plugin to 'post' data to the internet. I have some test data that works if I drop the url into a browser, or if I use the url in the FM url script step.

But I can't get the test data to work with the TROI URL plugin and its TURL_Post external function.

I can't use the url script step in general because 'real' data creates a url that is too long.

Anybody willing to give it a shot? I've run out of ideas to try.

I looked at cURL but this is my first foray into this world and I might as well have opened a Greek dictionary.

I've used Troi successfully in the past. Is it possible you need to visit another page first to load cookies before post is accepted? You might want to try 360Works ScriptMaster, which is free and provides HTTP Post capability. What is the URL you are trying to submit a POST request to? I've used cURL, it is very powerful, but integration with Filemaker is a bit weak.
