Hello, I'd like to set up a portal and put all my stuff from the repeating field I have into it. How is this done? I've created a portal, related it to another table, but I don't see how to pull all the data from the repeating field into the portal....

You can't !

To convert your repeating fields to portal rows you need to convert the original data during an import and split the repeating fields to new records. Then you can assign the relationship key to the related records so now they match their master record.
