I have recently cleaned up my relationships graph using the AB methodology. I now have a greater understanding of where data is coming from and going to.

However i am trying to create a script that imports records from a found set in one table and imports it into another.

I am using the AB method to navigate from one layout/table to another but im not sure what TO i should be using for the import. Does the import screen need to reference (from and to) tables that are related (ie part of the same TOG?) I hope this makes sense...

The source and target tables do not need to be related. Just keep in mind that different TOs of the same table can have different found sets.

What also sometimes trips people up is multiple windows: the window that the target table's layout is in is the window that determines the source table's found set, which may be different from the found set in other windows.
