BrentHedden
This goes a bit beyond FileMaker's capabilities, but I thought that I would throw this out anyways to see if anyone else has come across this. Is there any way to be able to just preview a PDF file? Opening a file with Acrobat or even using web browser brings up the Acrobat toolbar, which allows the user to email & save, among other things. What I want is the ability to open a PDF file, preview it, close it, and nothing more. This is mainly for security reasons. Preferably with a web browser, so we don't have to use external software. This is on a Windows platform.
bruceR
Try using the Filemaker web viewer.
BrentHedden
I thought of that idea too. Unfortunately, the FM web viewer uses the same Adobe plugin as a regular web viewer, so that pesky bar still shows up.
bruceR
No it doesn't. That is removeable.
BrentHedden
Oh yea? I must be totally missing how to do that. Please, enlighten me on how to remove that bar. If there a way of 'automating' this so I won't have to change each user's individual computer(s)?
