I must be barking up the wrong tree because I do not seem to get this part. I need a simple email this record with select fields. The addresses will be predetermined so the only new data needs to be a couple calculation fields in the current record.

Any advice or links much appreciated.

THANK YOU

The advice is to provide more details. What are you trying to accomplish? What exactly did you try? What you've said so far is basically "I tried to email something and it didn't work." That just isn't enough information.

Ok I'll try again.

I have a simple table that with minimal input creates user accounts for multiple systems and alerts to employee status. This is for account renewal and deletion. When one of our admins make a change of status or enters a new employee I would like to have an email button that would send info needed to me and two other users.

I just need documentation to help me to do this.

Thanks for the reply.

The send mail script step seems so straightforward that it is a little hard to figure out what might be causing you trouble. I guess we can start there - you are aware of this script step, right? What isn't working for you? Info for this script step is listed in FileMaker Help and on line here: http://fmhelp.filemaker.com/fmphelp_11/en/html/scripts_ref2.37.64.html#1029642
