I'm very much new to Filemaker and possible diving in to deep at the start, but could someone review my Tables and relationships as attached. I know I'm going wrong but head hurts ever time i try and simplify it.

The idea is:

AIRCRAFT_DETAIL

contains all the details of each aircraft and will via drop-down list pull data from:

ICAO_TYPE_AIRCRAFT

OPERATORS

COUNTRY_TABLE

ICAO_AIRLINE_CODES

Also want to try and include images in each record (aircraft_details) as required.

But if details to aircraft or photo change move the record to history and keep current updated in aircraft details. Finally have a feature where when an aircraft is seen this is recorded via tick box and date

Any help and guidance would be greatly received.

Why do you think you are going wrong? Looks reasonable. What problem are you trying to solve?

Thanks for reply Bruce. No major problem just want to ensure I get the start correct. Was wondering if I had too many tables and if I should include some into Aircraft_details and if Links was really needed!

Guess I just need progress forward and see how it goes.
