June 8, 201015 yr A key strength of the FileMaker products is their ability to integrate with the Microsoft Office products on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. Both end users and IT professionals know these products and use them daily. Yet many FileMaker Pro developers do not know the ins and outs of making FileMaker communicate seamlessly with Office. I am looking forward to Colleen Hammersley’s presentation FileMaker & Microsoft Office: Content Sharing for Mere Mortals on Monday, August 16th at the 2010 DevCon at 10:30 AM and its follow-on workshop at 1:30 PM. These sessions will introduce FileMaker developers to the OOXML format and demonstrate how data can be exchanged. Steven
August 6, 201015 yr This is the one presentation that I'm definitely going to be at, no matter what. My co-workers use Office products all the time, and it would be a huge benefit for everyone.
