no23rman Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 i create runtime demo for my clients, within a week, somehow i found it running around the internet cracked open. how the heck can this happened?
Raybaudi Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I suspect that you leaved the Full Access Account into the runtime.
no23rman Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 nope, i remove admin data entry is the only one that left out
no23rman Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 why is it strange? to crack a runtime is not impossible. We just didnt know how, or at least i dont.
Vaughan Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 How did you secure the runtime? Using scripts to control the interface?
no23rman Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 its a demo, i secure it by put validation value on mainID. if mainID more than 40 records=error. somehow the hacker manage to remove that.
Vaughan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 What creates the error? And what does the error prevent from happening?
no23rman Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 okay i guess i wasnt that clear one table with mainID as primary key i use the "validate by calculation" now we all know thats not good enough
no23rman Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 how do people secure their runtime? anyone?
