Kent Searight Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I have a shell script for closing files and shutting down FM Server that's called by the UPC when the power goes off. All works well except I can't seem to figure out how to suppress the prompt that occurs, asking me if I really want to close the files. In order for the script to continue a person must click Yes, but I certainly can't count on someone being present to click on that button when a power outage occurs. Any suggestions? Running FMSA 11 on Snow Leopard. Thanks in advance! -Kent
Wim Decorte Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I'm assuming you use the fmsadmin command line, correct? In that case you can use the -y toggle to make sure the prompt does not appear. Check out the help of the fmsadmin command line for more info.
Kent Searight Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 Hi Wim, Yes, that's correct, I'm using fmsadmin command line. I'll try your suggestion on Monday and let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help! -Kent
