Automatic Decimal Formatting?

Hi All,

I'm looking to have filemaker automatically place a decimal point so that if the user puts in the following information, it results in the following number formats:

35 = 0.35

350 = 3.50

3500 = 35.00

35000 = 350.00

I'm sure that there is an easy way to do this and hoping someone will help me out.

you could place this calculation into the auto-enter options for that field:

Self/100

I thought that would only result in adding the 00 after the number?

No, that calc would divide the entered number by 100

Be careful with that, because the same thing will happen when the field is edited.
