June 24, 200124 yr Newbies My MySQL and FM tactics still have to be a bit refined and so does my understanding of FMs ODBC support, but is it possible to have the "Customer" or end-user submit an order via PHP, which then stored the order in a MySQL database? Then, could the "sales department" use a FM Dev program to connect to the MySQL database to read the order? [ June 23, 2001: Message edited by: n3063n ]
June 24, 200124 yr Author Newbies Well so far I've managed to find the ODBC plug-in for Filemaker and I got FM and MySQL talking and the PHP inserting the new data. I'm just seeing if anything ends up not working now.
June 24, 200124 yr Author Newbies 1) I don't HAVE FM Unlimited 2) Exhisting systems are integrated into the MySQL database 3) Doesn't Unlimited just have enhanced capabilites for publishing FM Databases to the web? Oh well, maybe I'll pick up on it at the conference.

What works in normal FM will work in Unlimited for Unlimited number of visitors. You can scale FM on web two ways: a) By implementing more Unlim. servers : By using powerful middleware like Lasso. There is almost no programming cost for such transition.
