Custom Functions

Featured Replies

I just read about Brian Dunnings temporary release (link below), if he ends up going to prison for the full 20 years in August - does anyone else have the custom functions from his site?

1) "Temporary release"? That's not an accurate description of the situation.

2) Do you really think it's realistic to expect BD to go to jail for 20 years for cookie stuffing?

3) There's no reason someone in jail for 20 years can't run a website.

4) What someone does with their site is their business.

You're either joking, naive about the legal system, or trying to spread news about someone in the Filemaker community without looking like a gossip.

Look at the amount of money involved: Dunning made $5.3 million in commissions from eBay in 2006-07, Hogan made $15.5 million.

That's a lot of stuffed cookies.

Eh, white collar crime like this rarely gets jail time. Cookie stuffing is just being prosecuted (no one's even ever been sentenced yet).

My guess is they'll plead guilty and have to pay restitution and be on probation for a few years. It'll be a while before it happens.
