Applying Drop Down to all records in found set?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am a novice at FM so apologies if this is blindingly obvious.

I have created a drop down field and the values to go in them.

I want to be able to do a find(s) and each time apply a particular tag in the drop down list to all of the records in the found set for retrieval later.

I'd be grateful if anyone could point me to how I might do this?

Thanks in advance

Learn to use ( and fear ) the Replace command.

The replace command is a very powerful command that allows you to set contents of a selected field across a complete found set.

When you are sure you are using it well, that is great. But there is no undo, so you might want to practice a lot on a test database.
