New records in portal limited to number of lines in portal

I've got a layout with three related tables displayed in portals. Two of the portals are five lines long; one is seven lines long. I can only create five new records in each of the first two portals, and seven in the third one.

Is there a way to get scrollbars on portals, or in some other way make it so I can enter an indefinite number of new records in each portal?

If you want a scroll bar turn that feature on in the portal setup.
