I'm building a database for a high school sports team. There are various related tables for personal information, practice performance, team information (ie varsity, JV, jersey number, position), and competition statistics.

I thought creating a new layout for printing rosters would be easy to do since all the information is already in various other tables. However, for some reason I can't make it work. I'm pretty new at database design so I could be missing something very simple.

I tried creating a portal with the requisite fields for the roster print sheet (number, name, position, grad year). But the portal isn't populating with all the players, it only shows one player. I thought if I used a portal, it would populate with all the referenced data, not just one line of data?

Best I can guess there is something wrong with my approach...or there is something wrong with my relational structure? I know this isn't too much to go on, but any basic advice would be much appreciated.

I just added a copy of the database I've put together. Be kind, this is really the first full database I've constructed!
