We’re looking to hire an experienced FileMaker developer to:

• work in-house at our centrally located offices in Moreland

• on a six month contract

• to completely tame and redevelop our sprawling, unruly Filemaker 11 deployment (contains parent/student profiles, light CRM functionality, timesheets, timetabling, absence reporting, wardrobe/costume listings, online enrolment functionality through Web Forms, several years’ worth of records, etc.), as our lead developer has moved into an operational role. We’re hoping to roll out changes in an iterative, SCRUM-style fashion.

You should have:

• minimum of two years’ experience as a FileMaker developer

• familiarity with current versions of FileMaker/Pro

• solid knowledge of related technologies and IT environments

• excellent communication skills

• proven reliability

• FileMaker Certification is a plus

• familiarity with web connectivity and web programming is a plus

The ideal applicant will be able to enthusiastically perform job functions with a minimum of structure and supervision, and be able to thrive in an informal, creative company.

We want someone who is interested in working as part of a small firm, not as a freelancer (though freelancing experience is helpful), nor as part of a large corporation (though corporate experience is also helpful).

Compensation is dependent on experience, and competitive with market rates.

To be considered for this opportunity please submit your CV using the link below with a brief cover letter outlining your availability, rate expectation and FileMaker experience relevant to the requirements as listed above.
