Is there a way to copy the contents of a field to the address block for em apps like Outlook, Thunderbird and Mail (Mac)as I looked at the FM help docs and did not see if there is a way to do it without having to open the email app and do a paste of the field's content into the address block of the emailer. Any help on this would be terrific.

Are you using the send mail script?

You can use the option of insert the data from a field, etc.

I don't have v7 on this machine, so I can not verify if this will work.

Go to Jonathan Stark's site; Link and download the AppleScript Export Email Addresses as CSV from Address Book , this will give you a cvs file that can then be imported into your FileMaker file

Using the Send Mail Script step will require that the email address be in FileMaker.

Also, I don't think OS X supports any other email application other than Mail.app
