If I use FM Pro 11 to access a file hosted on FM Server 10, will the quickfind script step work?

Yes, the QuickFind script step is Server compatible, that is, you can include it in a script run on Server.

Not sure what you are looking to verify...

Thank you for your reply bconey. What I mean is that quickfind is a FM 11 feature and I'm afraid it would not work in a mixed environment with FM Pro 11 clients + FM Server 10. So I wonder if someone can confirm ... thanks!

Ahh...didn't read close enough. Hmm. I think the functionality available to the client is given by the version of the FM client used. So, an FM11 file served by FMS10, still has all the FM11 functionality. Has to be.

OK I just tried it and doesn't seem to work :P

I guess that's because finding and sorting are processed on the server, not by the client? or maybe I'm missing something ... :
