I have a project for a client to demonstrate an interface to his application database. I have been provided with a Filemaker 10 installer and key. The only Windows XP I have in my shop is a VMware XP Pro client hosted on a Windows 7 box.

The installer exits with this message:

FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced Installer Information

You cannot install or uninstall FileMaker on this system.

Please refer to the system requirements in the

installation instructions for more information.

Is there any chance this will work? Any pointers to information will be appreciated.

Hi Craig, and welcome to the Forum,

I don't know the particulars of your machine, and they can very greatly between manufactures, and configurations. You can compare you setup with what FileMaker has recommend for the minimum, Link to see how you match up.

Windows XP SP-what? from memory FMP 10 required SP 2 or later.
