Hi all,

I have an inspection system. It produces a report of an inspection of an item and all its parts. The item will be inspected multiple times during the year and I would like to be able to show the most recent inspection beside the current inspection so the user can compare the last one to the one he is doing now.

Typically a few months will pass between inspections so there are likely to be changes to the item and its parts.

I have fields: item1, item1_part1, item1_comment1. There are multiples of these.

The inspection system joins the above into Item1_joined1, so I'm thinking that by exporting just this joined fields into an archived database and then having these show up from a portal of the "archived" inspections might do it.

I'm having a problem figuring out how to display only the most recent inspection in this portal though. There may 3 or 4 inspections every year that will be saved in the archived inspection database. Currently when the matching happens the first record in the portal is showing not the last.

I'm terrible with scripts too I should add and a lot of what I read in the forum here goes so far above me, my hair doesn't even move!

Any simple solutions out there would be great!
