Yup, this is how portals work. They are fixed in size.

Best bet is to print from a list view, and use the sliding/printing feature to re-size the layout parts.

Sorry let's try again. I set up a portal with a relational database,three fields and 10 rows. The way a portal is supposed to work (I think) is show only one row . As I enter data into the first row a second blank row displays. What I'm getting is a table with three fields wide and 10 rows long. What did I do wrong.

The portal is always fixed in number of rows.

What you can set up is to have the *last* row allow entry. This is controlled in the relationship the portal is based on -- the "allow creation of related records" option.
