lidocayne Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) So I've tried about every permutation of SSL / TTL and ports that I can think of... even tried the automated script that I found on the forums. Despite this I can not, for the life of me, get a script trigger that sends a record via email (SMTP) using gmail to work. Is this just not an option? The from field is a single word, etc... If anyone has this working, could you please enlighten me? Thank you! Edited October 25, 2010 by Guest
lidocayne Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 51 views and no responses. That doesn't bode well. Is anyone out there using this feature with another SMTP provider? Perhaps I need to look in to using a different SMTP provider. Thank you!
lidocayne Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 Resolved... Ugh. Sometimes the most frustrating 'roadblocks' are the ones you can't believe you didn't figure out earlier. Note: if you are having problems with SMTP, make sure that you don't have a program installed that blocks outgoing traffic (e.g. LittleSnitch) *slaps forehead* :
