Newbies Warren I Posted October 30, 2010 Newbies Posted October 30, 2010 I'm not sure if this is the right area for this question. I'm setting up a db that has the usual first name - last name but also has partner first name - partner last name. How do I set an ID to relate to a table that contains other family last names that are not the same? i.e. if last name is Smith and the partner last name is Jones how do I set the relationship ID? The second table holds a list of family members and other private details. Thanks for any help.
efen Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Welcome to the forums This can be accomplished by having a join table between the person and his/her relations - joined by the unique record IDs.
