I have tried to upgrade a FM11 licence to FM11 advanced, because my customer wants to use IWP.

However, after the upgrade I still can not start the web publishing engine.

The settings show that the licence is fm11 advanced.

Restarting Fm server and restarting the server completely does not make a difference (server is Windows 2003).

Anyone an idea what the problem is? Do I have to remove FM server and reinstall?

Have you turned on the appropriate Web Server, either IIS or Apache (depending on the OS)? And what OS are you using to host FileMaker Server Advanced?

I did not realize I needed to use IIS also. When you use IWP in a client it works right away.

Now it is working on the server as well.

Three parts to IWP or CWP on Server:

Database Server

Web Publishing Engine

Web Server (IIS or Apache depending on OS)

All three must be functioning correctly.
