I _know_ I'm going to kick myself later for not remembering why this is happening so I'll save some time and will start kicking myself now: Why is the "Save as Excel" icon "grayed out" on the Print Preview toolbar? "Save as PDF" appears all right, so...?

I have Full Access privileges so that's not it. However, the icon is grayed-out while a script is paused (Pause/Resume Script [indefinitely]), but not when changing from Browse mode to Preview mode.

TIA for your replies.

They are completely different. Save as Excel is an export format. You choose what fields you want to export. It doesn't make sense in preview mode.
