I am new to using one computer(host) to share files. I set up one computer started up fmpro9 as host and i have 2 other computers

that i access the host computer through local area network(works great) but once in a while the host computer will give a "file corrupt"

message and to use the "Recover" to open it back up.

Any suggestions for setting this up...is there a right way to go about this....That error message has got me a LITTLE NERVOUS because

as we all know its hard to loose your database after spending so much time in building it...

Thanks, Jay.

make sure you are opening the database via Open Remote option, rather than directly accessing a network shared folder.

Also, it's better to not share the folder the database resides in on the Server computer.
