chevell Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Hey guys, I just upgraded our FMS 8 server to 11 advanced. I can't get the previously working XSLT and IWP pages up and running. The databases are working through FMP, i just can't seem to figure out why nothing is working via the web. I do get an error in the log: fmi/conf/config.wpc 401 0 I get this on several ports. The error when browsing, for all sections is page cannot be displayed. I reinstalled and made sure I waqs running latest patch and java. Thanks!
chevell Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Just got off the phone with FM Support. System only had a GB of RAM. Adding a gig and expanding the HD. This is running on a VM server cluster. Anyhow, what concerns me here is the 404 error. The databases are running and the web server is working, it just can't find its web pages. Very strange. More so that i can't seem to find anyone else with the same issue.
Wim Decorte Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 when you go to the "technology test" page from the admin console, can you verify that web publishing works with the FMS sample file?
chevell Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 when you go to the "technology test" page from the admin console, can you verify that web publishing works with the FMS sample file? nope, nothing works. All of them fail (even the FMP File test, even though it works with fmp client). the IIS root website does work, however.
Wim Decorte Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Sounds like a deployment issue. When you ran the deployment wizard for FMS, did it tell you the web configuration was ok?
chevell Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 Sounds like a deployment issue. When you ran the deployment wizard for FMS, did it tell you the web configuration was ok? Yeah, everything says its ok, just 404 error!
Wim Decorte Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Do you have more than one web site in that IIS? FMS normally configures itself only in the default web site. You might consider backing up your existing web site and making sure there is only a blank default web site left. Also make sure that one allows for ISAPI filters and either just anonymous authentication or basic authentication plus whatever else you use for authentication.
