Hello,

I have FileMaker Go on my iPad and iPhone - both have the same problem.

Server(not FM Server) is an iMac with OSX 10.6.5 with 11 Advanced serving out a single file.

When I connect to the file for the first time after launching GO it takes a few minutes to get to the Login screen (id and pw). I get the "Opening files...."

Once I get to the account and pw screen - it all works fine. And as long as I don't close GO - it performs great all day. It even prompts me to reconnect and that works fine.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I have the same problem..

NAT on Router is activated and Ports 80 tcp, 5003, 5007 tcp/udp are open

I tried to deactivate my firewall - same problems...

Accessing from internal wireless lan - same problem.

my webserver is using a static IP

Curious, do either of you use SSL encryption?

it took me 6 secs to connect with the db! (cisco router)

in my office and at home i have a very bad motorola netopia router.. so the problem must be there...but i have no idea..

i think i have to change the routers...
