joaocoutinho Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Hello, I'm having some problem to work with Supercontainers in my computer. When I enable SC plugin, the result is the one on this image. In other machines in my office, the SC works fine, but My MacBook Pro, I have this big Problem. Can someone help me?
Smef Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 It looks like java may not be installed properly, or something may be causing a problem with java on your system. Create a new database and make a web viewer pointed to http://javatester.org to see if java is loading properly. You should see a pink box with your java version in it. I suspect that you will get the same "!" there as well. Make sure that all of your plugins are up-to-date, and that java is properly installed and updated as well. Try disabling your plugins, restarting filemaker, and see which is causing a problem if there is some sort of conflict there.

I think that is something strange going on on my FM. You latest version of the plugin is 2.7, but in filemaker, as you can see, the version 2.57 even with the download of a new version. If I disable the plugin, the supercontainer works fine. I don't know what i'm doing wrong!
Smef Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 You have an old version of the plugin installed, which is a separate installation from the SuperContainer Server (and the plugin is not required for SuperContainer to work). Check in your FileMaker/Extensions directory and remove or update the plugin in there. The plugin may also be installed in your auto-update directory if you connected to a database which installed the plugin automatically for you. The auto-update directory will be /Users/yourUsername/Library/Application Support/FileMaker/Extensions.
joaocoutinho Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 Problem Solved! Remove the filemaker plugin from Macintosh HD/Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/Filemaker/Extensions and replace with the new one. Thanks for you support!
