rokstedy Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 I'm using a portal that shows not multiple related records, but a summary of data for those related records. There is only one row of data and that data consists of summary and average fields in the related table. What I'd like to be able to do is create a button that allows the user to drill down into those related records in a list view. I'm having trouble though finding the most optimal way. The portal is currently using two filters to thin the data further. In essence, the find would need to be for those records that match the parent record as well as the two filters. Any help? Did I explain that ok?!
comment Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Place a button defined as Go to Related Record [show related only] inside the filtered portal.
rokstedy Posted January 19, 2011 Author Posted January 19, 2011 sonofa...that was way easier than I thought it was going to be. I had tried that, but the button was outside the portal. Makes sense now of course to be in it...but hey.. Thank you!
